About Shepherd Training Group

Shepherd Training Group exists to help ordinary people become more capable and more prepared in high-stress emergencies through hands-on, responder-style trauma training.

Our Mission

Practical training that builds response.

We believe practical training should build confidence through repetition, pressure, and realistic application — so students can act decisively when seconds matter.

Most trauma training stops at awareness. We go further. The Shepherd Training Group pathway is built around doing — not watching. Students leave with skills they've performed under stress, not just concepts they've heard explained.

Trained response does.

Our Mission

We believe practical training should build confidence through repetition, pressure, and realistic application so students can act when seconds matter.

Our Approach

The responder pathway is built around progressive instruction, hands-on skill work, and scenario-based training — not passive classroom learning.

Who It's For

Our training is designed for civilians, churches, community groups, families, and preparedness-minded teams who want useful, practical trauma-response skills.

Partnership

Shepherd Training Group is an official partner of Refuge Medical and Refuge Training, bringing certified instruction and real IFAKs to every course.

Our Partner

Backed by Refuge Medical.

Shepherd Training Group is an official training partner of Refuge Medical — one of the most trusted names in civilian trauma preparedness. Bear and the Refuge team back our program directly.

Through this partnership, every student receives a real Refuge Medical IFAK and earns an official Stop the Bleed certificate — credentials that matter and gear that works.
