Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026

This policy explains what information Shepherd Training Group ("we", "us") collects through shepherdtraininggroup.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We run a small training business, and we only collect what we need to run classes and improve the site.

Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Class registration: your name, email address, phone number, the class you choose, and any notes you add.
  • Class notifications: your first name, email address, the courses you are interested in, your occupation, preferred timing, and anything else you tell us you would like to see.
  • Contact form and private-training requests: the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone, and message.

Information collected automatically when you visit:

  • Device and browser details, approximate location (city level), pages viewed, links clicked, and how you arrived at the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies from the analytics and advertising tools listed below.

We do not see or store your card number. Payments are handled by Stripe.

How we use it

  • To register you for a class, take payment, and send your confirmation and the exact class location after payment clears.
  • To email you about class dates and training you asked to hear about.
  • To answer your questions and arrange private or group training.
  • To understand how people use the site and make it better.
  • To build more realistic training scenarios around the kinds of work our students do.
  • To show our ads to people who have visited the site, and to measure whether those ads work.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed for the purpose listed:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — sending confirmation and notification emails.
  • Vercel — hosting the website.
  • Google Analytics — site traffic and usage statistics.
  • Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps that show how visitors use pages.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — the Meta Pixel, used for ad measurement and retargeting.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the safety of our students and business.

Advertising and cookies

This site uses the Meta Pixel. It lets Meta recognize that a browser visited our site, so we can measure our ads and show our ads to people who have visited us on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta apps. The pixel receives information such as the pages you view and actions like starting a registration, along with identifiers such as cookies and your IP address. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies in a similar way for analytics.

You can limit or opt out of this tracking:

How long we keep it

We keep registration records as long as needed to run classes, issue certificates, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Notification-list emails are kept until you ask to be removed.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from class emails at any time by asking us to remove you.
  • Ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
  • Opt out of ad tracking using the links above.

Security

We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or storage system is completely secure. Exact class locations are shared only with registered students, by email, after payment.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
